Area of intervention: awareness raising and education

In 2024, the non-profit association Organisation für Eine solidarische Welt (OEW) launched the Climate Show Young project in collaboration with Alperia, an educational initiative aimed at middle and high school students in South Tyrol.

The main objective of the project is to raise awareness among young people about climate change, offering them concrete and practical tools to reduce their environmental impact in everyday life. Through an interactive show lasting about an hour, presented in simple and direct language, the project addresses the issues of the climate crisis in an engaging and participatory way, thanks also to the active contribution of the students in developing the format.

During the 2024/2025 school year, 30 performances were organized in South Tyrolean schools, involving around 3,000 students.

An innovative element of Climate Show Young is the measurement of impact: through targeted questions to students, qualitative feedback is collected to assess the level of engagement and perceptions regarding the topics covered.

After initial positive feedback, the project has been confirmed to continue until 2025, with an overall evaluation planned for 2026. An update on the feedback collected will be shared to measure the effectiveness of the initiative in promoting a culture of environmental responsibility among the younger generation.
